    Jennifer Garland Ross, AAA
    Founder, Art Peritus

Jennifer Garland Ross, AAA is the founder of Art Peritus, LLC, a boutique advisory and appraisal firm specializing in the valuation, stewardship, and strategic management of major fine art and tangible asset collections. Art Peritus serves prominent collectors, family offices, and fiduciaries across categories ranging from blue-chip contemporary art and Old Masters to furniture, jewelry, timepieces, wine, automobiles, and specialty collectibles. The firm is trusted by leading insurance carriers—including AIG, Chubb, PURE, Treadwell, and Cincinnati—for complex, high-value assignments, and has overseen some of the largest art claims in the United States, including the two $100M+ fire-related claims at 740 Park Avenue. Most recently, Art Peritus completed the multicategory appraisal of more than 1,200 works for the Ann & Gordon Getty Foundation, a significant charitable donation representing one of the most notable cultural gifts of the decade.

Jennifer’s career began at Christie’s, where she spent several years as a Specialist before establishing a consulting relationship that continues more than twenty years later. Through Art Peritus, she has supported auction houses in the review and handling of major collections, while helping institutions access specialized expertise across disciplines. She holds a Master’s Degree in Fine and Decorative Arts from Sotheby’s Institute London and the University of Manchester and is a Certified Member and former Board Member of the Appraisers Association of America. For two decades, she has served on vetting committees for the Winter Antiques Show, the International Art & Antiques Show, and TEFAF New York.

Today, Art Peritus is recognized as a discreet, independent partner to UHNW families and institutions, advising on valuation, long-term collection planning, succession, insurance strategy, and the preservation of cultural and financial assets. Guided by Jennifer’s leadership, the firm continues to provide white-glove expertise to some of the world’s most significant collections.
