Steve is a Partner with Wellspring Associates where he has dedicated over 28 years implementing the Wealth Integration Process™ for affluent families, family offices and their advisors. His practice focuses on Wealth Transfer Audits and in-depth Life Insurance Audits. Steve is a firm believer in the statement “What you don’t know, can hurt you”.  Steve has authored and published white papers on Life Insurance Audits and Effective Trust Mapping for Family Office Exchange. Licensed as a life insurance counselor and a Certified Financial Planner®, Steve also holds the designations of Chartered Financial Consultant® and Chartered Life Underwriter® from the American College of Financial Services. Steve is active in the industry, a member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting and the Philanthropic Advisor Leadership Institute and a past board member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council.

Steve obtained his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management with two certificates in Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He went on to receive a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. Steve takes pride in having paid his full tuition and expenses as he earned his two degrees by selling books door-to-door over this seven-year timespan, graduating with no debt and money in the bank as he embarked upon his career.

A proud Eagle Scout, Steve enjoys camping, gardening, coaching soccer, spending time with his wife, Ella, and their five children. Steve has a strong desire to instill a mindset of service and ministry in his children. He is a past board member of Blue Skies Ministries, an organization that helps families with the struggles of pediatric cancer. Steve and Ella enjoy hosting Bible studies and homeschooling their children, Massie, Mary Stuart, Tarpley, McGuire and Hynes.
