The office partners with an associated private Trust company, tax firm, and external partners to deliver exceptional service to the family.

Position Summary

The Family Wealth Advisor will serve as a trusted financial steward for the family, providing personalized advice across investment management, estate planning, tax strategy, and other areas of need. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and technical expertise, as well as the ability to build deep, lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with family clients while gaining a comprehensive understanding of their evolving financial goals. This individual provides leadership to clients in wealth management, planning and reporting and develops strategies to meet financial objectives.
  • Coordinate all services for assigned clients. Lead family meetings regarding investments, trusts, financial and estate planning, banking, and insurance needs of family members. The advisor will work closely with internal and external cross-functional experts in these areas to support clients and make informed decisions.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external resources to support client objectives.
  • Act as family member liaison and trusted advisor with a service and fiduciary mindset. Proactive communication and responsiveness to a wide range of priorities is critical to the successful delivery of client experience and outcomes.
  • Develop and execute client service strategies and processes to deliver high client satisfaction and engagement. This role will oversee the client service functions for the family office.
  • Develop and provide financial education for family members of various life stages to deepen financial literacy and stewardship. Communicate effectively with audiences representing all levels of financial knowledge and interest.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality while upholding the family’s values and legacy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CFP, CPA, CPWA or similar designation preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or family office advisory.
  • Deep understanding of investment strategies, estate planning, tax optimization, and trust vehicles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to navigate complex family dynamics.
  • Proven track record of discretion and integrity.

Work Environment

Adler Management is based in Minnetonka, MN.  Given the highly collaborative nature of this position, the individual will be expected to have some presence in the office as part of a hybrid work environment. Up to 30% travel will be required for in-person client meetings.
