Her mission is to mobilize private capital for the public good, with a focus on philanthropy, sustainability, and cross-border collaboration.
She is also the founder of Waban Impact, a social enterprise launched in January 2024 to support individuals and organizations in turning their social vision into action—especially those working to uplift underserved and low-income communities. In its first year, Waban Impact has partnered with clients across the U.S., Israel, Mongolia, and Taiwan, spanning nonprofit, corporate, and government sectors. Its work has been featured in Financial Times, Thrive Global, and Bizwomen. She also runs Waban Luminaries, an independent LinkedIn series spotlighting sustainability leaders and purpose-driven innovators, and partners with Evertreen, a London-based reforestation platform, to plant five trees monthly as part of Waban Impact’s climate commitment.
Callie previously worked as a management consultant at Accenture and Simon-Kucher, advising Fortune 500 clients on enterprise technology and pricing strategy, as well as at several leading policy think tanks.
She holds the inaugural Joint BA/MA degrees from Wellesley College and the Geneva Graduate Institute, where she studied philosophy and international history and politics respectively. Raised in Taiwan and having worked across the U.S. and Europe, Callie brings a deeply global lens to her work. She frequently speaks on social innovation and impact entrepreneurship at institutions such as Accenture, Wellesley College, Columbia University, University of Pennsylvania, and The New School. She serves on the Chicago Leadership Committee of 50/50 Women on Boards and the board of the Wellesley Asian Alumnae Alliance.
