Melvin Simms is Vice President of Sales at Family Office Exchange (FOX), the premier membership organization serving enterprise families, family office executives, and their advisors. FOX provides trusted insights, peer learning, and strategic connections to help members build enduring family legacies and navigate the complexities of multigenerational wealth and leadership.
Mel brings more than 20 years of business development and strategic growth experience, having led high-performing teams and driven revenue expansion across professional services, executive networks, and global organizations. He has a track record of creating and scaling sales teams, building powerful go-to-market strategies, and strengthening long-term client relationships at the C-suite and board levels.
Before joining FOX, Mel served as Executive Director and Community Practice Leader at World 50, where he led national sales efforts and community development for Fortune 500 and Global 1000 executives. During his tenure, he helped scale the membership team from 16 to 65 across several geographies and grew annual revenue by 120% through strategic innovation, CRM modernization, and talent development. He also led initiatives focused on DEIB engagement and cross-functional collaboration, including founding the firm’s Inclusion and Diversity Impact Community.
Mel holds an Executive MBA in Global Business from Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business and a Bachelor’s in Finance from Georgia State University. He has also channeled his entrepreneurial spirit as the former Executive Managing Partner of a successful Atlanta-based hospitality group, recognized in Atlanta Magazine’s “Best of Atlanta” issue.
