Andrew Family Story of Spousal Integration and Inclusion
Often families struggle with effective ways to engage their rising gen and preparation for newcomers to join the family via marriage. Concerns of preserving family traditions, legal rights, and governance are imminent when a spouse enters a new household.
Join us to learn firsthand of a spousal integration and family engagement survey created by the family’s very own rising gen member, Marissa, a spouse who married into the family. Panelists will discuss the creation and design of the survey tailored to their 13+ G3s, what they learned from the responses, and how it impacted the spousal integration within their own family.

Rising Gen Leadership Development
Recent FOX research has highlighted two key challenges future family leaders are experiencing—1) defining their future roles within the family/family office (56% of respondents), and 2) navigating family dynamics (53% of respondents). This session will help participants reflect on what they can do to prepare themselves for future leadership role, become an effective participant in the boardroom, build trust, and ensure their voice is heard.
At the end of the session, participants will:
- Recognize the changing nature of organizations and leadership
- Understand the four key elements of effectively operating within a complex family context:
- Social astuteness
- Influencing skills
- Networking ability
- Bringing their best, authentic self to the role
- Consider how these themes relate to their specific family context and what they can do differently to be more successful in the short- and long- term.

Build an Enterprise to Last
FOX founder Sara Hamilton, together with Margaret Vaughan Cox, will describe what a complex enterprise family looks like and share a new framework, detailed in their recently published book, Build an Enterprise Family to Last: Proven Strategies to Thrive Across Generations, that distinguishes the Family Journey, the Enterprise Journey, and the Personal Journey. Their methodology and milestones allow each family to explore where they are today, where they want to go in the future, and how they plan to get there. They’ll share specific examples of how families get stuck when building an enterprise and what techniques can help them better align their goals and strategies for the future. Join this session for an introduction to an in-depth seminar offered in the afternoon.

Participants will engage and learn:
-How the key elements that define the ten core competencies can be used as a tool to develop group learning.
-Activity: Choosing the three competencies most relevant to strengthen/elevate our family system.
-Table Dialogue: What can I learn from FOX peers in similar situations?
-How other family offices built effective group learning programs for: the entire family, sibling groups and cousin consortiums.
-How to use the 10x10 to move from awareness to action with practical steps to move forward.

What is Your Superpower? Empowering Individuals and Family Members to Achieve Their Purpose*
What is your superpower? If you don’t know, well, you don’t get to put on the cape. Based on his book, Design for Strengths: Applying Design Thinking to Individual and Team Strengths and Weaknesses, John will share the “Design Thinking” mindset and process out of Stanford University, ubiquitously used at Apple, Google, Amazon, and other Silicon Valley successes. Then, through the metaphor of Olympic sport, you will learn how individuals and teams can use the Design Thinking methodology to identify and leverage their unique strengths (and design around weaknesses) to achieve breakthrough performance and solve old problems in new ways.

Clarifying Wealth Management Value Propositions for Effective Marketing and Growth
Wealth advisors today face a unique set of challenges as the independent wealth advisory space solidifies its role as a preferred solution for ultra-high net worth families. In this new phase of independent wealth management, UHNW clients are increasingly seeking services that go beyond traditional investment management and financial/wealth planning, leaving advisors racing to meet these broader needs. With constant industry shifts, how can wealth management firms clearly define and communicate their value proposition to their prospective clients? And how can they make sure their existing clients understand all the services and potential value in the relationship? In a time when every firm is offering “tailored, personalized solutions,” how can firms articulate their message effectively to a diverse audience and differentiate themselves in an increasingly crowded market?
Join this interactive discussion where attendees will be welcomed to ask “just in time” questions to address challenges they currently face, and groups will work to develop messaging and “elevator speeches” to share.
Key considerations include:
- Defining your ideal client profile: The essential first step
- Changing Face of Wealth: Women, next gen and blended families
- Crafting a compelling elevator pitch: Developing a concise, engaging message that resonates with your audience, rather than alienating them
- Supporting content to reinforce your value proposition: Leveraging content that highlights and demonstrates the unique value your firm delivers
