Hiding in Plain Sight: Impact Investing in the Creative Economy


The Global Impact Investing Network’s Annual Impact Investor Survey 2018 reports that zero percent of the respondents’ $228 billion of assets under management were invested in Arts & Culture. But when using the “creativity lens” that looks at creative activity beyond the limits of art and culture, a different story emerges. It can be seen that impact investing in the creative economy has been hiding in plain sight and there is tremendous potential that the creative economy offers to impact investors.
